Marc Green

General Manager-PEC ( Professional Electrical Contractor)
A Master Electrician for over twenty six years, Marc has been an integral part of the growth of Mike’s Electric into the successful company it is today. He brings an extensive knowledge of all areas of electrical installations, trouble-shooting and design build. As well as being responsible for the day-to day operations of the company, Marc’s experience extends to the financial aspects of the business including job costing, budget forecasting and  tenders.
With excellent interpersonal skills Marc is able to coordinate efficiently with team members, consultants, suppliers and General Contractors.

Mike Oberthier

Senior Project Manager-Master Electrician
Mike began his electrical career in Saskatchewan where he completed his formal training before moving to Banff to begin work as the head electrician for the Banff Springs Hotel. During his tenure there, he was oversaw millions in new construction and renovations as well as a major retrofit. As senior project manager with Mike’s Electric, he led the team that completed the multi-million dollar Kinnear Centre for Creativity and Innovation and the Donald Cameron Centre both part of the world renowned Banff Centre campus. These projects also obtained LEED Silver designation. Mike recently worked with Parks Canada to renovate and upgrade the Cave and Basin National Historic site, and completed work on the Canmore Community Arts Centre. Currently Mike is working on the Banff Gondola Upper Terminal Redevelopment.

Heather Myers

Project Manager- PEC (Professional Electrical Contractor)
Heather completed her apprenticeship in the Bow Valley, and in 2000 joined Mike’s Electric as a Journeywoman electrician. Since then she achieved Master Electrician designation as well as becoming one of the first women in Alberta to achieve PEC status. Heather oversees most residential projects and has recently completed several large condominium developments in Three Sisters Mountain Village in Canmore. She is currently overseeing the Ravenrock condo development in Canmore, as well as the Versant development also in Canmore.

Jeff Carlson

Project Manager
With over twenty three years in the electrical industry, Jeff has managed  numerous projects, both commercial and residential giving him experience in all aspects of the industry. He was project manager for the The  Banff Fenlands Recreation Centre renovation and expansion which achieved a LEED Silver designation. Most recently Jeff has been  in the field with our out of town projects, working on completing the Jasper Municipal Library.
