We Take it Seriously

In an industry where safety is crucial, through constant care and planning we have maintained an excellent safety record. We work hard at educating and training our employees to make safety second nature. As a member of the Alberta Construction Safety Association, we are kept apprised of industry safety standards and changes in OHS&A regulations and legislation. One of the basics that makes our safety program effective is the constant communication with our field team and the daily tasks they complete to make their work area as safe as possible.

Our employees are trained in the following areas:

  • WHMIS
  • CSTS ( Construction Safety Training System)
  • First Aid/CPR
  • Fall Protection
  • Confined Spaces
  • Aerial Work Platform

Our work sites are regularly inspected by our own certified health and safety auditor to ensure not only our employees, but all trades are operating in the safest possible manner.

Mike’s Electric has a comprehensive safety plan and is a member of the PIR ( Partners in Injury Reduction) program in conjunction with WCB and the Alberta Construction Safety Association. We have achieved and maintained a COR (Certificate of Recognition) since 2010.
